I wanted some new throw pillows for my living room sofa so, of course, I turned to Pinterest for some inspiration.
I fell in love with these ruffle pillows as soon as I saw them and immediately headed over to The Barefoot Seamstress to see if it was something I could handle.
And let me tell you – they are so easy to make! If you can sew a straight line, then you can definitely make these ruffle pillows. The only thing I did differently is I didn’t create tubes. I just cut my fabric into strips and then I sewed a straight line along each edge and then down the middle. This way the edges are unfinished and fray which is what I wanted.
I love how it turned out! I think I’m going to make another one with multiple rows of ruffles to put on the other end of my sofa.Thank you Becky for inspiring me and showing me how to make this great pillow!!
